STUDENT VISA FOR SINGAPORE
In order to get Singapore Student Visa,you need an admission offer from a Singaporean university.After accepting
the offer,you will need to apply for a student visa
that will permit you to study in Singapore for the duration of course.Indian
students need to apply for a “Student’s Pass”. A Student Pass is a document
that allows international students to enter and pursue a degree or diploma
course in Singapore from registered institutes.The Student Pass is valid for
the entire duration of the course.In Singapore,a student will not be allowed to
work for more than 16 hours per week but will be allowed to work full time
during vacations.
After
accepting the offer,college or university will upload student’s details on the
SOLAR website.You will be required to fill and submit the Student Pass
application form on the SOLAR website.If your application is accepted,you will
receive an IPA letter, i.e.single entry visa into Singapore. IPA Letter is an
official document issued by the ICA through your college or university. You can
enter Singapore with your IPA letter and Passport.Once you enter Singapore,you
will need to report to the ICA office or your college in due time and furnish
the required documents.Singapore is the most popular education destination for
Indian students who wish to study overseas.The
educational system in Singapore
is a mixture of the education systems in the USA and UK.The cost of the
